Diartist Graphic Design
Being an artist and designer since studying in Sydney, under James Barker, Karen Oom and Elisabeth Cummings in the early 80s was such an enjoyable time. Venturing into Graphic Design in 1983 with a traineeship in Sydney then in 1994 moving to Launceston and working as a freelancer for Finlays–a public relations firm has given me experience. Moving around for the next few years, I picked up contacts in HMAS Creswell – Jervis Bay, HMAS Coonawarra – Darwin, HMAS Cerberus – Victoria. I then moved to Sandy Bay, Tasmania, and eventually settled on Nine Mile Beach on Tasmania’s east coast in 2006.
A love of typography and design spurs me on ... watching the seasons change from my home office refreshes me, getting the creative juices flowing.
Books, newsletters, logo design, signage + Squarespace web design are my specialty. Printing is also organised with most jobs.
